Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy for Anxiety Associated with Advanced Stage Cancer

MAPS has developed a protocol for a study of psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy in the treatment of anxiety associated with life-threatening illness.

This project has been canceled. We obtained Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for the protocol, the Principal Investigator's institution refused to permit him to submit the protocol to their Institutional Review Board (IRB). We are now developing a study of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for anxiety associated with life-threatening illness.

This study is not currently seeking funding.

Give Our Veterans Hope
1 in 7 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffer from PTSD, in many cases leading to suicide. We owe it to our veterans to stop this epidemic.

Tell the Pentagon to fund MAPS' groundbreaking work to treat PTSD.
