Principal Investigator: Michael Mithoefer, M.D., with Ann Mithoefer, B.S.N.
Location: Charleston, South Carolina, USA

Have You Served in the U.S. Military, or with a Police or Fire Department, and Have Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)?

We are seeking men and women, at least 18 years old, diagnosed with PTSD from experiences that occurred while serving in the military, as a firefighter or police officer. You must be in good physical health, with blood pressure that is normal or kept normal by taking medication.

We're conducting a research study of an investigational drug used in combination with psychotherapy. The study takes place in Charleston, South Carolina. For participants from out of town, all travel expenses, food and lodging will be paid for.

For more information, please call (843) 849-6899.

Give Our Veterans Hope
1 in 7 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffer from PTSD, in many cases leading to suicide. We owe it to our veterans to stop this epidemic.

Tell the Pentagon to fund MAPS' groundbreaking work to treat PTSD.
