MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy in the Treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in Vets

July 8, 2010

Principal Investigator: Michael Mithoefer, MD and Ann Mithoefer, BSN
Location: Charleston, SC, USA

Are you a Veteran? Have You Served in the US Military and Have Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)?

We are seeking men and women, at least 18 years old, diagnosed with PTSD from experiences that occurred while serving in the military. You must be in good physical health, with blood pressure that is normal or kept normal by taking medication. We are seeking people who still have symptoms despite treatment with either psychotherapy or medication.

We're conducting a research study of an investigational drug used in combination with psychotherapy. The study takes place in Charleston, South Carolina. For participants from out of town, all travel expenses, food and lodging will be paid for.

For more information, please call (843) 849-6899 or see http://www.maps.org/vets
