Re: MAPS: Aspiring psychedelic researcher looking for guidance

It looks as if there are at least three of us in the same boat! My name is Justin. I am currently attending the University of Virginia, and will be graduating in the fall with a B.A. in anthropology and a minor in philosophy. You guys might want to consider doing anthropology. I know of at%20least two graduate students here in our department that work indirectly with psychedelics, one with mushrooms in the highlands of Mexico and the other with DMT and the Santo Daime Church. Check out our people page at http://www.virginia.edu/~anthro/ especially Roy Wagner and Edith Turner. Also, you might want to check out the anthropology of consciousness section of the AAA: http://sunny.moorpark.cc.ca.us/~jbaker/sac/home.html Good luck to you all!!!!
