MAPS: MAPS-supported study of Compassionate Use Patients

I'm attaching a PDF of a paper that was recently published in the J. of
Cannabis Therapeutics:

Russo E, Mathre ML, Bryne A, Velin R, Bach P, Sanchez-Ramos J, Kirlin K.
Chronic Cannabis Use in the Compassionate Investigational New Drug Program:
An Examination of Benefits and Adverse Effects of Legal Clinical Cannabis.
Journal of Cannabis Therapeutics Vol. 2 (1) (2002): 3-57.

MAPS donated $10,000 to the study and was the fiscal agent for another
$10,000 donation. The paper discusses a medical evaluation conducted on four
of the seven legal medical marijuana patients who receive their supplies of
marijuana from NIDA under the Compassionate Use program. The paper highlights
the value received by the patients, the lack of significant adverse effects,
the poor quality of the NIDA material, and the need for a better product to
more adequately meet the needs of the patients.
