The operative work here is "was"... AET is most definately an LSD-like
psychedelic. Also, note when it was available as an antidepressant. AMT
was also a legally prescribed antidepressant (Indopan), yet it is
unquestionably a powerful LSD-like psychedelic.

Have you had mescaline? Its really not very much like LSD. Sure, there's
lots of superficial similarities, and descriptions of the two states sound
similar... but they're really quite different states. I dont think anybody
who has had both would confuse the two.
