MAPS: Does LSD cause uterine contractions?

Some people have claimed that LSD may precipitate miscarriages because it is
an ergot alkaloid that produces uterine contractions.  Is this true?
Supposedly there are indigenous groups that use plants containing lysergic
acid amides for the purpose of facilitating childbirth: anybody know about
this?  Aside from the point that pregnant women should avoid all unnecessary
drugs, are there any other psychedelics that might have a pharmacological
action that would be adverse on a fetus?
