AMT is chemically a tryptamine. It is a psychedelic with
a relatively long duration (around 12-14 hrs or so with
several hours of additional stimulation at the end).
I haven't heard of it being sold in pill form (we'd love to
get a description of the pill if at all possible)...it generally
comes in powder/crystal form. Dosages can vary, but a
mid-level dose is somewhere around 20-30 mg (oral).
It is not uncommon to hear people compare the effects
somewhat to those of MDMA/Ecstasy, although it is way
more of a psychedelic, with sometimes intense visuals.
Many people experience rather severe nausea, with vomiting
quite common during the initial hours.
It is unscheduled in the United States, making possession
vaguely legal (depending on how you'd like to interpret
the analog act). We do know that it is specifically scheduled
in Illinois and might be scheduled in some other states. We
have a collection of information about it at:

Hope this helps.
