Volunteers Needed for MDMA Lit Review Project

Assistance Needed with Gathering Material for MDMA Literature Review Project

At least two volunteers are needed to gather electronic copies of research
papers published in peer-reviewed journals. The goal of the MDMA
Literature Review Project is collect and evaluate all English-language
peer-reviewed research publications and reviews addressing the topic of
MDMA, with electronic copies of papers in PDF form presented to the FDA and
in the MAPS and Erowid bibliographies. Anyone enrolled in or otherwise
affiliated with a
university or college (as faculty, researcher, fellow, etc) could assist in
procuring copies of various papers. This involves using on-line journal
resources when available. Neither of MAPS' primary reviewers and organizers
of this project are currently affiliated with any school, college or
university.

The capacity to scan documents into the PDF
format would be a great help as well, as not all materials are available in
electronic form. Information would be provided on the paper(s) that need
to be located, and arrangements could be made between individuals working
at different institutions. This task may take anywhere from 1 to 5 hours a
week, depending on the number of papers and the number of individuals
involved in performing the task. Volunteers gathering papers for the MDMA
Literature Review Project can expect to improve their facility with on-line
catalogs, databases and journal sites.
