MAPS: Psychedelic Bibliography Online: Update
In the last two months, we have spent $4400 on the Sandoz psychedelic
bibligraphy project. Roughly 2300 new entries were scanned and OCRed in
the fourth quarter of 1998. These have been uploaded to the bibliography
website, www.maps.org/wwwpb. The new entries are from the Sandoz Pharma
files that were turned over to the Albert Hofmann Foundation in 1997.
Most of these papers have never before been electronically indexed.
This phase of the bibligraphy project was made possible by a $6000 grant
from Bob Wallace in September 1998.
Matthew Baggott (University of California, San Francisco) is beginning
another phase of the psychedelic bibliography, reviewing articles from
more recent scientific publications. This project was also made possible
by a $1400 grant from Bob Wallace.
Matthew has discussed journal articles for the MAPS Bulletin in the past:
MDMA research reviewed Studies of MDMA users
MAPS - Volume 7 Number 4 Autumn 1997

Psilocybin's effects on cognition: Discussion of recent research
MAPS - Volume 7 Number 1 Winter 1996-97

The online psychedelic bibliography is a joint effort of MAPS,
Heffter Research Institute and the Albert Hofmann Foundation.
In the last six months, MAPS has disbursed $6500 towards this project.
