MAPS: request from Peggy Dwyer
Dear Forum Members,
I am a Ph.D student researching in the law faculty of the University
of Edinburgh. I am studying the legal response to new synthetic
(designer) drugs and attempts to control the illicit market. I would
be very gtrateful if anybody has any information on problems with
national legislation, particularly where legislation has been modified
to try to control a group of drugs, as in the US (analohue
approach), UK (generic approach) and New Zealand. I would also
like to learn of any legal cases where the legislation has been
challenged, or its legality or efficacy tested.
Any assistance would be very gratefully received.
Best wishes,
Peggy Dwyer
