Re: MAPS: OCD treatment
Inositol, in the B vitamin family, has been used in high doses (8-12 grams
daily) to treat OCD, as well as panic and depression. More info on
Medline.
Regarding pain I've heard of good results with Alpha stim , a
microcurrent device. May be contraindicated if history of vertigo.
I know some people using this for hip and knee pain. A 20 minute session
provided benefit for them for about a week. It's prescription in U.S.,
over the counter elsewhere. Expensive, but there are rentals and doctors
and athletic trainers who use it regularly.
I don't sell inositol or alpha stim and am not a doctor!
Best
wishes!
