Unfortunately, there are no such studies of which I am aware. There are
anecdotal reports from several years ago of a decline in violence and
hooliganism associated with football (i.e. soccer) fans in England after MDMA
started replacing alcohol as the drug of choice by some fans.
Somewhat related is a paper looking at the reports of 20 psychiatrists about
their own personal use of MDMA. About 85% or so say that they believe MDMA
has substantial potential as a adjunct to therapy, while substantial
percentages talk of some psychological/spiritual benefits in their own lives.
