MAPS: Village Voice Grof Breathwork article

is to an interesting article about Stan Grof's breathwork- called "safe
psychedelia"  on a par with "safe sex."

The article made some interesting comments about suggestibility. I much prefer
psychedelics to breathwork because with psychedelics the flow from my own
unconscious seems more organic and less influenced by conscious processes.
However, I am not an easy visualizer and am certain that for some people,
breathwork opens the same doors as psychedelics open for me.   

I highly recommend the breathwork training program. As a certified Holotropic
Breathwork practitioner, I feel that I  gained an exceptional education that
generalizes to how to sit for psychedelic sessions.
