Hm, this law does bring into stark relief the logic of the "war on the users
of some drugs": It is considered wrong and therefor will be made illegal to
enjoy yourself.
IMHO this law applies more to Prozac and viagra than it does to 2cb.
IMHO 2cb is much as a hallucinogen as an entactogen, and is not an euphoric
at all. While happy feelings can occur, it is my unscientific opinion that
there is no chemical property of the drug that causes these - they come from
the user's psychological reaction to the experience. Or do not, as the case
may be.
2cb can make you feel emotionally open (entactogen - "touching within"), as
with MDMA. But with 2cb, unlike with MDMA (and more like LSD)there is no
emotional safety net of feeling that everything is fundamentally OK. If the
2cb user is not in an environment or mental set that provides some measure
of that safety net, the 2cb experience can be an uncomfortable (although
potentially fruitful) one.
