Re: MAPS: Marquis test may be not reliable enough



when the pigs ransacked my appartment a few years back, their sophisticated
Marquis test gave them visible satisfaction when they applied it to a
family-sized baggie with a half pound of tyrosine.  

But the tester was an older dude who nodded his head and seemed to agree when i
told him I wasn't surprised cuzza what it was and what the test probably really
looked for.

Hey, how do you use phenylalanine in plant cultures?  That's something I'm
begininning to get into and I'm intensely interested in different media....
