MAPS: Question: Arizona Prop 200
Syndicated columnist David Broder recently published a column in which
he made the statement that "(Proposition 200 in Arizona) decriminalized
marijuana and a wide variety of hard drugs..."). Broder breezes right
by this fact as if it's common knowledge, and proceeds to build an
argument for his brand of harm-reduction (almost exclusively drug
testing, with tougher and tougher penalties for those failing such
tests)on this phony foundation. I want to respond, but I want to be
sure I'm right. Didn't Prop. 200 either decriminalize marijuana, or
only decreed that it should be made available by doctor's prescription,
i.e., rescheduled from 1 to 2?
Please help...
