You may find our recent pages on DPT interesting. We have been collecting
information. One of our contributors wrote the "DPT Primer" which is a good
introduction to the effects of DPT.

Like many entheogens, getting the dosage right with DPT seems to be
somewhat tricky. Another problem is that the oral dosage of DPT can
be quite high (expensive) for some people. One user
reported overwhelming effects at 250mg oral DPT HCL while others
reported feeling virtually nothing at 250mgs. Many people
are experimenting with snorting and injection, while others are
converting the HCL to a freebase to smoke. As a freebase, inhaled
vapors are potent at the 10-50mg level. Some people report
body twitching and other body load issues, while others report it
feeling 'very smooth'.
So far it is not listed in any laws we know of.
be careful, this is new substance making its way around and there isn't
a great deal of collective wisdom yet,

In response to Craig Schenk's query regarding information on DPT I would =
like to say that I have read some interesting things recently concerning =
this substance both on the net and in A.Shulgin's TIHKAL.
As mentioned by Shulgin this substance is being used without =
recrimination in the U.S. by a relegious group known as the Temple of =
the True Inner Light.
As a U.K. citizen I was interested to find out it's legality in this =
country so looked through the list of controlled substances(Misuse of =
Drugs Act 1971),only to find DMT and DET were there, but not DPT.Does =
this mean that this substance is perfectly legal both in the U.S. and =
the U.K.?
If this is the case then I am assuming that the Temple of the True Inner =
Light are supplied legally with DPT or make it themselves.Shulgin does =
mention in his book that it may have once been supplied by "an =
independent supplier of chemical novelties".
Many Thanks
Cypsy.
