This is a love song
For the ones that have come before
Singing to the ancestor Spirit realm
For our own survival

This is an offering
Sage sweet grass cedar smoke
Lovingly
Going out to the great Mystery

Once more with a feeling

This is a love song
Sing it from the heart
Feel it down in my bones
The tenderness of this river flowing
Grief and bliss

And with the tears rolling down
We water the seeds in the ground
And bring to life
All original Soul from which they guide

When I cry
When I cry
When I cry cry cry
They are here to hold me

When I fly
When I’m ready to fly
When I’m ready to fly
They are here to release me

And we fly
Fly fly fly fly together
We’re keeping it high
In every kind of weather

This is a serenade
Going out to the astral today
Gratitude on my lips
For this multi-dimensional relationship

They lived
They lived and died
They lived and died
And I am here to remember.

When I’m in the dark
When I’m in the dark dark dark
They send me the lightning

And when I’m ignorant
I’m down and lost
And ignorant
When I’m in my ignorance
They are here to teach me

Teach me
