"Luckily things have calmed down and have worked out quite well in retrospect. We were somewhat shocked this morning by the newspaper headlines and preliminary TV reports and have been dealing with enquiries and interviews all day (including US agencies), but after the more intelligent journalists had spoken to us they soon realised that we had been misrepresented. In fact the BBC (UK National news programme) ran a TV slot tonight which was very supportive of our article (other channels have followed suit), and highlighted the need for caution and more careful conclusions."
