MAPS Executive Director Presents at the Patients Out of Time’  4th Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics in Santa Barbara, CA on April 7, 2006

“Founder of the Multidisiplenary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), Rick Doblin, Ph.D. relates his long sought requests of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the National Institutes of Drug Abuse, which controls the U.S. government-grown medical marijuana and who gets it for research, for access to cannabis for research and to import high CBD strains from Holland. One success was getting FDA approval for the “Volcano” vaporizor as a research tool.”
